Google update AI features try so you will try on clothes by using a selfie, the company said announced on ThursdaySee rank-. In the past, users had to upload a full-body image of themselves to try on a piece of clothing. Now, they can use Selfie and Nano Banana, the Gemini 2.5 Flash Image Model, to produce full digital versions of themselves for virtual try-ons.
Users can choose their usual dress size, and the feature will generate several images. From there, users can select one to create a standard test photo.
If desired, users still have the option to use a full photo or choose from a variety of models with body types.
The new ability is launching in the United States today.

Google first launched Features Try it In July, it allowed users to try on apparel items from the shopping chart, shopping, Google Shopping, and Google Images. To use the feature, the user must tap on the list of products or clothing product results and select the “Try On” icon.
The move comes as Google has invested in a virtual currency ai package, as the company has a separate app specifically for that purpose. App, as it is called Doubledesigned to help visualize how different outfits can look on you using AI.
Earlier this week, the tech giant updated with an updatable Discovery feed that displays recommendations so users can discover and virtually try new items. Almost everything in the feed works, with direct links to merchants.
The Discovery Feed features videos made from real products and shows outfits based on personal style. While some people may not like AI-generated feeds, Google Likely View is a way to present products in a format that people already know, thanks to platforms like Tiktok and Instagram.
