After launch captions automatically returns the video last year, Google Drive is now launching the video transcript you can search for. Google is announced Since Monday, the user can now view and find the transcript for the video.
The new features will be eliminated to upload a video audio to the transcription service like Otter.
The transcript will appear in the sidebar next to the video player and will highlight the text you are speaking now like a video you played. Google said that new update is designed to make users easier to find specific time in the video by searching for transcripts. In addition, it is easier for users who follow the video content.
To access video transprips, you need to open videos with details on Google Drive and click the Gear icon in the lower right corner of the video to open video settings. Then, you just have to choose the “Transcript” option.
Need notice that your video must have information if you want to see the transcript. You can know what the video you have on the “CC” button in the lower right corner of the video player is set to active.
You can add information to your videos by clicking and click the “Manage Description button. ‘From there, you can select the” Auto “button button.
The new feature is playing in the coming weeks to all Google Workspace customers, Google Undkspace customers, and users with Google’s personal account.
