Ghana helicopter crash killing ministers of defense and surroundings


Ghana’s defense ministers died in the crash of military helicopter at the center of the Ashanti region, with six other people, a government spokesman said.

The staff chief Julius Debrah told a press conference that the Minister of Defending Edgew Edge Boamah and Environment, Science Minister of Murala Murhala Murhrahim Murala Murhamim Murhamim, 50, killed in the crash, which he described as a “National Tragedy”.

In the past, the armed forces in Ghana say the aircraft, carrying three crews and five passengers, lost “radar”.

It was taken from the capital, Accra, at 09:12 local time (and GMT) and headed to the town of Obuasi’s gold for a national event.

Authorities do not confirm the cause of crash.

The staff chief pointed to the country’s flags flying half mast.

He gave thanks to “servicemen dead in the country’s service,” for President John Dramani Mom and Government.

Ghana’s national security coordinator and former agricultural minister Alhaji Muniru also also mohammed the dead, vice-chairman of the National National National Congress Partter.

Members of the crew were named squadron leader Peter Bafemi Anala, Officer Officer Manin Twum-Ampadu, and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah.
