Gaza’s silent partner disease | Opinion

It’s been two months since the war period in Gaza. Palestine is still killed by Israeli troops, but tireless bombings have stopped – at least now. Two weeks ago, the extremely necessary help allowed in the bar was cut off.

In the last one and a half months, whatever it has arrived, he could strictly resurrect the collapsed health service system in Gaza. Most hospitals and clinics have been destroyed, especially in the north, humanitarian organizations will have to raise the tents to give the basic care of hundreds of thousands of thousands of readers. The medical supplies that come in are already running out.

In this constant harassment, the healthcare system in Gaza cannot be recovered, the harassment of civil population Health can be very little paying attention to many health problems. The worst of them is that the unwavering use of explosive weapons in Israel has been left behind for 15 months.

According to the World Health Organization, by September 2024, 22,500 people in Gaja have changed their lives from October 7, 2023, including serious organs, dissection, spinal cord, brain injuries and large burns.

At the height of the warfare, at the height of the war, the aid organizations and the medical institutions were reporting that more than 10 children are losing one or two limbs every day in Gaza. Many of these organs could have been saved if the operation begins without forgetting many and if the health care was not destroyed. In December, the UN said that in Gaza, there are “the most children’s amputations per capita per capita”.

On July 224, while on a field visit to the Al-Axa martyr hospital, I saw how one of the last working hospitals in Gaza was struggling to help those injured by explosive weapons. When I reached the hospital, many people were injured due to many bombings.

Due to the severe shortage of employees, I rushed to help. The first patient I present is a four -year -old injured daughter named Tala. The bombing had lost her leg and she was crying and screaming sharply. Her mother, who was seriously injured, could not help calm her. Without changing her bandage and giving her a painkiller, I can’t do much for that little girl.

Then I became seriously injured and unconscious of a young man named Aballa. After coming to the hospital, the rest of his leg was cut off. His father told me that Abdalla’s grandmother and one of his siblings were killed.

I returned to the hospital at December 224, where I met Hanan, Years, and two young girls of 1 year and Months, who had raided Israeli a few months ago. Hanan had cut both her legs, while her sister Misk lost one of them. Their aunts, with whom I spoke to them, told me about the struggle to take care of them.

Misk had just learned to walk when the bombing hurt her leg. Asked why she was age, Hanan was worth understanding and noticeing her age.

There are some stories of thousands of children who have reduced their childhood by the Israeli bomb. They are unable to run and play with their companions, tolerate severe trauma in places that cannot give them basic care.

Before this genocide war, Gaza had already had a large number of employers, victims and victims of previous Israeli war Attack on peaceful demonstrations??

But some facilities and organizations were helping them. Hamad was capable of providing apputs with rehabilitation and artificial organs. Various activities provided psychology-social support and therapeutic programs to overcome trauma and stigma. But all of these have gone now. Hamad Hospital was destroyed in the first few weeks of the war warfare.

Disabled hospitals and temporary clinics are very capable of taking care of acute diseases, very low for people with disabilities. Rafa Border Crossing is now closed again and none of the injured can travel for treatment. Thousands of artificial organs and assistant equipment such as croches and wheelchairs are urgently needed, but they are not allowed.

It will take many years to regenerate in the area of destruction of Gaza’s health care area – and if Israel stops help as a form of collective punishment. At this time, the employers will inevitably suffer not only due to lack of care and rehabilitation but also due to deep psychological trauma that will be impossible. This will be a silent epilepsy of Gaza.
