An alleged Florida thief devoured stolen earrings worth more than half a million dollars before carried by the police last week.
Orlando Police accuses male, 32-year-old Jaythan Gilder, who lied to Tiffany & Co. Store employees showing him “many high values”.
Mr. Gilder then robs earrings and runs from the store.
When officers had taken him later that day, they saw Mr Gilder “swallowed many things believed to have stolen earrings,” as police.
Mr. Gilder says trying to steal two pairs of earrings worth $ 769,500 (£ 597,000), as well as a diamond ring that he fled to the store.
Police released an x-ray showing to show a person’s stomach with a foreign matter inside.
When asked by the BBC, Orlando Police didn’t say if they got jewelry.
Police also said Mr. Gilder stolen stolen in Tiffany & Co before, robbing a Texas store in 2022.
There are 48 equal warrants for his arrest in the nearby Colorado as well.
Police ordered Mr Gilder with theft with a mask and Grand Theft at the first degree, associated with the stolen items of $ 100,000. He is blessed with innocence until proved to be guilty of court.
