Five pro-Palestinian activists have pleaded not guilty Infiltrating a British military air base and the loss of two planes in protest of the UK’s support for Israel’s war in Gaza.
The five are accused of breaking into Bryce Norton Royal Air Force Base in central England in June and spraying red paint on two Voyager planes used for refueling and transport.

Campaign group Palestine Action, which has been banned by the government, said it was behind the incident.
Louis Chiaramello, John Sink, Amy Gardiner-Gibson, Daniel Jeronimides-Nori and Muhammad Omar Khalid appeared via videolink from prison at London’s Old Bailey Court on Friday.
He pleaded not guilty to damaging property with intent prejudicial to UK interests or security. Their trial is scheduled to begin in January 2027.
Bail was not applied for despite being one of the five Major demands The activists continued. Others include the right to a fair trial – which he says is an “ongoing witch hunt of activists and campaigners” – an end to censorship of their communications, “de-proscribing” Palestine actions and the closure of the Elbit system, which operates many UK factories.
Palestine Action was launched in July 2020 and describes itself as a movement “committed to ending global complicity in Israel’s genocidal and apartheid regime”. UK Parliament Voted in favour on July 2, 2025 for classifying the group as a “terrorist” organization.
More than 1,600 arrests were made in the three months after the ban came into effect in connection with support for a banned group. This ban has been challenged in court.
