The four victims were called Kasem’s wife Manar Khatib, 45, Shada, Shada, 20 and Hala, 13, and their aunt Manal Khatib, 41.
They made it into two reinforced safe rooms at home they shared – but the ballistic missile hit straight.
They live in Tamra, a city of Arab in northern Israel.

Tamra residents have long raised the alarm because of the difference. It is located north of Israel, about 10km (6 miles) to the east of Haifa town and 25km (16 miles) to the Rockets that have been extinguished by Lebanese Group Hezbollah. Lack of habitats is also a widespread issue with some of the poorest Jewish communities in areas such as south of Tel Aviv.

According to the official statistics of Israel, at 2023, 42.4% of the Arab population lived under the poverty line – more than doubling the proportion of the total population of Israel.
There are trials in recent years to close these gaps. In 2021, the previous government of Israel brought five years of development plan for Arab Society.
“We are in the middle of a large jump of economic growth, narrow education gaps, higher education, and work,” as Amit.

Outside the ruins of the family house, Mohamed Osman, 16, neighbor says: “Everyone is angry and sad.”
Talking about Shada, 20, he said: “He studied his whole life. He wanted to be the best. His father was a lawyer, and he wanted to be like him.
“They are the best picture of a happy family … when I think about them, I think the pieces I see.”
In a vigil ahead of the funeral, many members of the community gathered, staring at each other in handshakes, sharing coffee and tea.
“Bombs did not choose between the Arabs or Jews,” says Kaseem. “We need to end this war. We need to conclude it now.”
