A loved one of Spencer and Monique Tepe has spoken out about reports of a 911 call that came from a crying woman months before police say the couple was shot to death in their Ohio home on Dec. 30.
Fox News reported that a woman called 911 from the Columbus dentist’s home in the early morning hours of April 15 about a “domestic dispute,” then hanged himself, according to records obtained by the outlet.
The woman eventually spoke to the dispatcher again and said “me and my man got into it,” but explained she was “okay” and apologized for calling, according to the transcript shared by Fox News.
The news comes as authorities continue to investigate the Dec. 30 murders of Spencer, 37, and Monique, 39. No arrests had been made as of Wednesday afternoon, January 7.
Addressing the April 911 call reported by Fox News, Monique’s brother Rob Misleh he said it didn’t come from his sister.
“It was not 100% his voice,” Misleh said in a statement Us Weekly on Wednesday, January 7.
while discussing the call on the Surviving the Survivor podcast on Tuesday, January 6, Misleh said on the podcast that Spencer and Monique “had more people over” and “had house parties” as they liked to “get people together.”
He added that 911 was called during an April meeting and that the caller was “clearly not Monique.”
“Sometimes at these parties, people get a little drunk … that happens,” Misleh said.
Misleh said that “several people I’ve talked to who were at this party” recalled that one woman had “a little bit of an allusion for lack of a better term.”
He said he was possibly suffering from a mental health condition and called the police from his cell phone.

The video shared on Facebook shows an individual walking down an alley near the couple’s home between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on December 30, when investigators suspect the Tepes were killed “upstairs at their residence.”
The person is wearing what appears to be a black sweatshirt, with the hood up, and light colored pants.
Officers found Spencer and Monique shot around 10:04 a.m. on Dec. 30 after they were called to their home for a “well-being check,” according to a police incident report previewed by we.
