Founder Sana Javeri Kadri started turmeric with turmeric, and the company noted its growing popularity in the United States and expanded to black pepper, cardamom, spice blends and more. Jessica is in contact with Javeri Kadri because she wants to know that her spice tastes so high that her spice tastes so good. The founder told her that most of the spices are native to South Asia and taste different when grown there, even when compared to the same seeds, extracted and grown elsewhere.
Before Javeri Kadri raised $1 million in pre-season rounds, the diaspora had five years of action, followed by a $1.5 million seed round from a 2024 up to 75 angel investors from Meena Harris, from Meena Harris to the founder of Salt and Straw Ice Cream, a strategy that provides 35% stock for companies and employees.
