Music’s biggest night is just around the corner.

Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter i Leon Thomas are among the stars who could take home trophies after releasing albums between August 2024 and August 2025.

Who will host the 2026 Grammy Awards?
The host of the ceremony has not yet been revealed. Trevor Noah housed the last two Grammy Awards in 2024 and 2025.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen, so that’s what I love about the Grammys is that it’s live; it’s happening,” Noah told CBS News in 2024. “It’s on the fly… That’s the thing about awards shows, is that everybody loves a joke when it’s not about them, and your goal and hope is to tell a joke about the person they think is funny too.”

The coveted albums of the year are the nominees I should have taken more pictures (Bad Bunny), Swag (Justin Bieber), Man’s best friend (Sabrina Carpenter), May God order them (clip), chaos (Lady Gaga), GNX (Kendrick Lamar), Mutt (Leon Thomas) and Chromocopy (Tyler, the Creator).
This year was also a standout year for the Best New Artist honorees Olivia DeanKatseye, Les Marías, Addison Rae, Dark, Leon Tomás, Alex Warren i Lola Young.
“I was shocked,” Rae said The Los Angeles Times in December 2025 to receive an assent for the first time. “The night before the nominations were announced, my managers said, ‘Should we get together and see this?’ That’s a lot of pressure. I’ve always wondered with these people who post videos of themselves reacting to nominations, “What if it didn’t happen? They have confetti and they just don’t blow it?’”
Rae chose to watch the ad from her manager’s office, which she described as “very quiet”.
“I had looked at all the prediction lists, and the only place that predicted he would be nominated was Pitchfork,” he said. “So the odds didn’t seem great to me. Then they called my name, I was, like, (gasp). That was all I could say.”
Rae rose to fame as a member of TikTok’s “Hype House” in 2020 alongside Warren.
