Now you don’t need to speculate, as King Charles III He published his own personal reproduction list at Apple Music to mark Commonwealth Day on Monday, March 10.
The playlist, entitled CHARLES III HIS Majesty Playlistpresents some of the king’s favorite music artists, including Bob Marley, Kylie Minogue and Grace Jones.
“Throughout my life, music has meant me a lot. I know this is also the case with so many others, “said Charles, 76, in a video message announcing the project on Friday, March 7.
“He has this remarkable ability to bring happy memories to flood from the deepest retreats of our memory, to comfort us in times of sadness and to bring us to distant places. The king revealed his playlist for a special of Radio Apple Music 1 titled, The king’s music roomwhich was issued on Monday. He started the program by playing Bob Marley and the Wailers, noting that he once met Marley.
“Bob Marley would have been 80 years this year,” Charles said. “I remember when he came to London to act when he was much younger and I met him at an event … that wonderful and infectious energy, of course, he had, but also his deep sincerity and his deep concern about his community.”
