XBREW Lab debuted its countertop nitro brew machine, the EverNitro, at CES this week, offering nitro coffee enthusiasts an easier way to enjoy the brew — without the waste and expense of traditional cartridge-based machines.
If you’re not familiar with nitro coffee, it’s cold brew coffee filled with nitrogen gas. This process creates small bubbles, which produce a soft and naturally sweeter taste – similar to drinking Guinness. Many people also note that nitro coffee is less bitter.
EverNitro positions itself against competitors such as NitroBrew as a more affordable all-in-one solution. “We offer quality commercial taps with traces of coffee makers. When others sell you gas, we give you the technology to harvest for free,” Founder and CEO Terry Tan.
The company claims EverNitro delivers 95% nitrogen purity and highlights its ability to produce nitrogen directly from ambient air. By eliminating the need for a single cartridge, the device provides a cheaper and more environmentally friendly solution for home use.

After trying it ourselves, we were pleasantly surprised. The machine is simple to use, and fits easily on the counter or stores comfortably on a shelf—making it an ideal addition to your kitchen or bar setup. The canister accommodates coffee, cocktails for a bar-quality touch, or other beverages. The user can choose the pressure he likes, which is from 0 to 8 BAR (metric unit of pressure).
The whole process, from loading the drink to enjoying the finished drink, takes only a few minutes. There is also a companion app that sends updates.
The device is opened in Kickstarter in October and raised over $570,000-a testament to the strong interest in this product despite its premium price point. The Lite option costs $470 and includes just the machine and tube, while backers can buy it for $290. The Pro version is $583 (or $337 for backers) and comes with the machine, two cans, a jar of coffee bean preservation, and a whipped cream kit. But, for comparison, the table unit NitroBrew cost around $1,000.

Going forward, Tan told TechCrunch that the team is “exploring how gas can improve the texture of all beverages, not just coffee. Imagine a machine that doesn’t just dispense; it intelligently mixes a cocktail or brews coffee and then automatically selects the perfect gas profile to add body and mouthfeel.”
