European governments have condemned US President Donald Trump’s announcement that eight countries will face 10 percent tariffs for opposing US control of Greenland from next month. Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Finland are on Trump’s list, although it was not immediately clear whether the tariffs would affect the European Union as a bloc.
