Sheena Leven says she learned two important lessons while building her first company, codesee. The first lesson is to understand the difference between what the business needs and the voice in the Vision; The second is that the basics apply, even with new technologies such as AI.
“The security, the compatibility, the reliability, the quality, so it’s not just running enterprise applications,” he said.
After Cesodee was acquired in 2024, Leven decided that he wanted to build a product that would serve businesses, even those without a technical background, to build AI applications. He teamed up with AI Researcher Sean Robinson, and last October, the two launched unjustified, AI services that you can use to build AI applications.
Empromptu claims all users do is tell Chatform’s AI Platform what they want – like new HTML or JavaScript – and the tool will go ahead and build it. It also provides llm tools to help users if they want to search for any result, and also enables companies to add AI features to their existing code base.
Leven doesn’t think it’s a coding platform vibe, even though he seems to be in good company with companies like replit and lovable.
“The coding vibe is great for quick experimentation, but impromptu is what real software is all about,” he says. Impromptu, he continued, “turns the idea into a production feature with independent evaluation, governance, and improvement,” he said. “You deliver to real customers, with real data and full control. If vibe coding is brainstorming, Empromptu is building.”
On Tuesday, the company said it had raised $2 million in a pre-seed funding round led by a venture precursor. Zeal Capital, an alumni venture, listeners on the edge and the south loop also participated.

Leven said the fresh capital will be used to hire staff and develop new property technology.
The company hopes to target businesses launched in regular industries or “complex areas” that include data capture and application creation – hotel software, for example.
Overall, Leven expects that founders feel they can be disruptive without having to learn technical skills to take advantage of AI.
“It’s like another skill,” Lewen said. “And the beauty of this skill is that AI can help you learn along the way.”
