Elizabeth Hurley is giving fans an update on his ongoing relationship with the country singer, Billy Ray Cyrus.
“Billy Ray. Yeah, Billy Ray is fabulous. We’re very happy, very happy,” Hurley, 60, said. The Times of London in an interview published on Saturday, October 25.
“He loves it. He obviously loves England,” he continued about his friend’s thoughts on his native country. “The weather is nicer here in the summer than in Tennessee. Lives 40 minutes outside of Nashville. It’s so beautiful. Oddly, it’s a lot like England. Probably the equivalent of Surrey.”
The actress also revealed that when the pair are together in Tennessee, they tend to fly under the radar, which could be difficult given their respective careers. She added that Cyrus will often be waiting in the car when she goes shopping because “I would be upset.”
“I cut her hair the other day,” she revealed. “We have a lot of hair between us. We’re in constant danger of choking on hairballs. Her hair is very fuzzy. Before she does it, it’s out here. So we actually have contrasting hair, which we want to look the same in the end.”
Hurley and Cyrus it was first known in 2022when they starred on Netflix Christmas in Paradisebut things were nothing but professional between the pair until Hurley texted Cyrus in 2024.
“I didn’t even know the number, and it’s like, ‘Hey, it looks like life might be a little rough and I just wanted you to know that I’m in your corner.’ You’ve got a friend in your corner,” Cyrus recalled on Bentley’s Apple Music show in April 2025, calling Hurley a “great human being” and “unbelievably awesome.”

I’m not surprised because we’re actually quite similar and we get on very well,” she said at the time. “There’s been quite a reaction… We both like to laugh a lot and we both like country. We both like country music, in both movies. We have a lot in common, and definitely cowboy.”
