El-fasher city residents are surrounded by hunger, uninvited to the UN


The UN food agency is warned that families are trapped within the shrinking Sudanese City in El-Faster Fast Gut.

The world’s food program (WFP) said it does not bring food to the town of the Western Darfur region by road for more than a year.

The WFP says it has trucks full of food and nutrition assistance ready to go, and receive clearance from the Sudanese government to proceed to El-Faster.

It still awaits the word from RSF if it supports a breakfast to allow the town items.

“This is a running danger,” he said.

“We are in advance with an unbearable injury to a whole generation of children, not because we lack knowledge or tools to save them, and to access this crisis. We need to access children.”
