Dua Lipa entered 2026 in her sexiest attire.
Lipa, 30, showed off a number of outfits she wore while ringing in the new year via Instagram on Thursday, January 1, including a semi-sheer silver dress that sure turned heads. The sequin-covered number was fitted with straps, an open neckline and a fitted silhouette.
The singer accessorized with diamond earrings and delicate silver rings. She went soft glam, including golden brown eye shadow, rosy cheeks and bright pink lips. Her brunette hair was parted down the middle and worn in big bouncy curls.
Lipa also turned up the heat in a fiery dress with a flame design on her bodice, plunging neckline and leather trim. Lipa teamed the look with silver cross earrings and an intricate manicure with colorful polka dots. She let her natural beauty shine through with minimal make-up, including a touch of mascara and lined lips. Lipa sipped a cocktail while pouting at the camera.

“Somehow this looks like a Facebook post,” Lipa captioned the photo carousel. “☆HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026☆ Wishing you all so much love, joy and blessings for this coming year☆ Thank you for making my last year so special☆ I’m excited to make this the best one yet☆!!!!!” Lipa’s fans wished her a happy new year in the comments section.

This isn’t the first see-through dress Lipa has worn. At the barbie premiere in Los Angeles in July 2023, she left little to the imagination in another silver Bottega Veneta gown. The chainmail design was complete with thick straps and a square neckline that exposed her chest. Her dress was finished with a flowing floor-length skirt.
Underneath, Lipa wore a chrome thong, which she matched with her stiletto heels. She added even more sparkle to her look with a diamond necklace, silver rings and coordinating earrings.
Lipa previously talked about how she and longtime stylist Lorenzo Posocco dress her on stage while chatting with Vogue in September 2025. “There was an immediate trust,” Lipa said as she recalled when the duo first met a decade ago.

She opened the show in a gold John Paul Gautier bodysuit before changing into a sheer Gucci catsuit, which she wore with matching boots.
“I think it really compliments the visuals in that part of the set, which are, to begin with, quite bright lights and then the image on the screen is kind of black and white burlesque,” he explained. “When we go into ‘Levitating,’ it goes deeper into the cosmos (and) the dress almost looks like it’s part of the background.”
