The expected sitting between Dorit Kemsley i Maurice Umansky activated The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills it’s finally here, and it was actually pretty awkward.
Thursday’s February 12 episode showed the duo having dinner to discuss Dorit’s current issues with her estranged husband, PK Kemsleyand how Mauricio could help. Most of their discussion surrounded a possible “schedule” with the children. Dorit claimed she wasn’t “restricting” PK from seeing the kids, but Mauricio seemed to feel otherwise.
“I want him to be involved. I need him to be involved,” she said. “But he has to show himself with a clear head.”
Dorit claimed during Thursday’s episode that PK is also “back to drinking.”
“He doesn’t drink every day. He’s not binge drinking,” Mauricio said, defending his friend. “I’m going to dinner with him. He’s asking for a glass of wine, maybe two. We’re not sitting there chomping at the bit. That’s not what he’s doing.”
Dorit replied: “She didn’t stop drinking for a year because (it was) just a casual thing. She stopped drinking because she had to stop drinking.”
Dorit shared alleged details about PK consumption habits during RHOBA season 14. Claimed PK he was a “full blown alcoholic” during the November 2024 premiere, which he has since denied it.
“I’ve spent months trying to get PK to talk to me. I don’t know what his intentions are,” Dorit, 49, said during her confessional. “I don’t know where his head is at, and right now I feel like I’m in limbo and I have no control over what’s going to happen next. I know I have to do something about it.”
Dorit further explained to viewers that the “biggest problem” with PK is his alleged failure to communicate with her.
“I really hope Mau can help,” he continued in his confessional. “Maybe as one of PK’s closest friends, Mau will nudge him in the right direction so we can be on the same page, because that’s what’s best for the kids.”
Dorit and PK announced their separation in May 2024 after nine years of marriage. She filed for divorce in April 2025. The former couple share son Jagger and daughter Phoenix.
During the sit-in that was broadcast on Thursday, Mauricio made it clear that he was not there “to take sides” and only wanted to offer guidance.
“He never texted me to see the kids,” Dorit claimed. Mauricio replied: “He gave me his phone and I scrolled up and down everything and saw your replies, his replies, the conversations about the kids.”
Dorit claimed it was an “isolated” conversation, claiming that PK was making things “one-sided,” but Mauricio disagreed. In her confessional, Dorit alleged that PK was likely omitting the context of the conversations.
“If you want to help, Mau, go to your friend and say, ‘PK, what’s wrong with you? He tried to sit and talk to you,'” he said. “Tell him, ‘You have to think about your children.’ I’m on his side. I’m not his enemy.”
