The BBC is talking to Kyiv people to see if people in the Ukrainian capital believe that a cease-stop-stop was a step by the end of Russia’s war.
Ukraine agreed to a plan for a 30-day ceasefire earlier this week, following the speeches in the United States.
Russian president Vladimir Putin since he said he agreed to the idea of a ceasefire in Ukraine, but added “Questions” left about a truce.
He also gives many difficult situations for peace. Ukrainian President Volyonymer Zelensky describes Putin’s response to the “manipulative” plan and is called additional Russian penalties.
Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, after this claim to Crimea in 2014, and a war continued since.
