The Professional Tennis Players Association (PTPA) has filed a claim against the administrative organizations of the game. He has accused him of ignoring the anti -rival methods and the welfare of the players.
Novak Djokovic co-founded by the PTPA’s independent players’ organization in 199, he said on Tuesday that after many years of good efforts to improve commercial tennis, legal action was forced to take legal action to end the “monopoly control”.
The statement said that the PTPA, along with dozens of players, had filed documents in the New York court against ATP Tour, WTA Tour, International Tennis Federation (ITF) and International Tennis Integration Agency (ITIA).
Ahmed Nasar, Executive Director of PTPA, said in the statement, “The tennis has broken.” “Behind the elegant veneer who encouraged the defendants, the players are stuck in a unjust system that exploits their talent, suppressing their earnings and endangering their health and safety.
“We have ended all the options for reform by communication, and administrative organizations have not given up an option without us to get accountability by the courts.
In reply, the ATP accused PTPA of choosing “division and distraction” and had no meaningful role in the game.
In a statement, the ATP said, “We strongly reject the support of PTPA claims, considering this case is completely without quality and we will strongly protect our position,” the ATP said in a statement.
“The ATP is committed to working for the good interest of the game – continuous growth, financial stability and the best possible future for players, competitions and fans.”
The WTA defended the growing women’s tennis records and described the case as “destitute”.
“Every decision taken at the WTA board level includes the input of the players by the representatives of their selected circles, and the participation of the LTA will provide huge financial rewards and other benefits,” the organization said.

‘A big day for tennis’
Meanwhile, Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios believes that the “special moment” in the case has been marked and the players’ voice was heard at that time.
Former Wimbledon Finalist Kirgios, which is listed as a plaintiff with PTPA, and this group is determined to do something for the future of the game.
“I know that many players and I am not happy about the ongoing structure in tennis and everything,” Kirgios told Sky Sports.
“This will be a special moment in tennis.
“Tennis needs to change things.”
PTPA was formally established by Novak Djokovic and Vasek Pospisil to advocate the players in 2019.
Pospisil said PTPA has talked to more than 250 players and had a lot of support with the top players.
“ATP/WTA has spread so much fear in many years that it is not easy to keep your name publicly for this initiative.”
Player associations are common in professional sports, while tennis are different that players work as an independent contractor.
“We are the only sport in the world with no players’ organization.
“ATP had so much power recently, no one has to show anything.
“I don’t think the players have finally been very happy to have done on the tour than other sports, and I think this is definitely one of the main reasons.”
Describing various administrative institutions as ‘a cartel’, the PTPA, who has initiated legal action in the United Kingdom and the European Union, has been accused of “artificially compensate for professional tennis players” and impose “Draconian” rankings system that compels them to participate in some competitions.
The case is called unsafe in the case, saying that players are played in extreme heat, and in the morning, tennis balls selected by the competition are a component of intense injuries, and random drug tests are being misused by the players’ privacy.
Before filing the case, the PTPA said that more than 250 players met in the top 5 tour of most men and women.
