Hi everyone, Alexei Oreskovitch is pitching for Ellie today. Well guys, it’s all done this week :A New OpenAI modelsupcoming report space exploration technologies corp. IPO, even waymo baby! Most importantly, OpenAI and disney announced Surprise cooperation This includes a $1 billion investment in OpenAI, which enables OpenAI users to use artificial intelligence to generate videos of Mickey Mouse and hundreds of other Disney characters.
This 3-year agreement is a huge win for OpenAI (considering that Disney also Googleaccusing the internet giant and OpenAI’s main rival of “massive” infringement of its intellectual property through its artificial intelligence systems). The question is: Why is Mouse House rolling out the red carpet for ChatGPT makers?
You don’t need much imagination to guess the sordid scenes that await Disney’s family-friendly characters, as the tortured souls of the internet will have carte blanche to send them into an artificially intelligent nightmare machine. A source revealed that safeguards will be put in place to prevent Mickey and friends from taking drugs, committing adultery and engaging in other unseemly or illegal behavior. wall street journal. I’m sure absolutely no one will ever figure out how to get around these guardrails.
Of course, entertainment businesses need to stay ahead of trends and ensure they are relevant to the next generation of consumers. So partnering with OpenAI is an obvious way for companies to stay connected with kids. But if any company doesn’t seem to be in immediate danger of losing its children, it’s the company behind “The Lion King,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Donald Duck” and “Iron Man.”
It’s sure to be a fun adventure. Perhaps Disney’s deal with OpenAI will prove prescient and shrewd. I just hope Donald keeps his drink in check.
See you on Monday,
Alexei Oreskovitch
