The Spanish police say that “all evidence has so far pointed out” Diogo Jota was a car driver who participated in an accident in which Liverpool forwarded and his brother, Andre Silva.

The accident happened at 12.30AM local time on Thursday (11.30 Wednesday BST) on the A-52 highway in the municipality of Cernadilla, Zamora.

It was understood that Jota traveled from Portugal to Santander in Northern Spain, where he was supposed to take the ferry back to England.

The statement published on Tuesday, the Civil Garda in Zamora was published: “The professional report is prepared and finalized.

“Among other things, traces that leave one of the wheels of the vehicle are evaluated.

“Everyone so far evidence indicates that the driver of the crashed vehicle was Diogo Jota.

“The professional report has not yet been completed, but as it is subject to court examination, the court will be submitted to the Court of Puebla de Sanabria.”

Last Thursday, the Civic Guardian said in the statement Ski Sports News: “The vehicle has left the way and everything points to cracked tires while overtaking.

The funeral for Jota and his brother, Silvo, was held in the town of Gondomar on Saturday, near Portoa.
