Speaking to FRANCE 24’s Sharon Gaffney, Martin Hulin, director of the Network for Technological Resilience and Sovereignty at the Bertelsmann Foundation, says that US political coercion through big tech firms provides “an opportunity for Europe to consider not only financing alternatives, but also creating a strategy on how we would not want other companies and technology to serve us in the way we would like to be served.”
