The alleged ‘inappropriate’ relationship between the former Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore and a woman on his football team was more visible during his arraignment hearing on Friday, December 12.

Rezmierski argued that Moore was “a risk to public safety, a risk to this victim.”
Moore was charged with one count of third-degree felony home invasion, one misdemeanor count of domestic harassment and one count of breaking and entering.
If convicted, the charges carry a maximum sentence of 6 years and 90 days in prison.
On Friday, the judge ordered Moore released on $25,000 bond, saying the former head coach would be required to wear an ankle monitor and continue mental health treatment.

“This conduct constitutes a clear violation of University policy, and UM maintains zero tolerance for such behavior,” athletic director Manuel said in a statement.
President of the University of Michigan Domenico Grasso He sent a letter to the school community on Thursday, addressing Moore’s termination.
“There is absolutely no tolerance for this behavior at the University of Michigan. None,” he wrote.
Grasso continued, “I have been in close communication with the Board of Regents and we are united in our commitment to do what is right. This breach of trust by Coach Moore is painful for many in our community, first and foremost, the people directly involved in this situation.
