Rodman and ex-wife Michelle Moyer welcomed Trinity in 2002, a year after the son was born DJ. (Rodman also shares the oldest daughter Alexis with the ex-wife Annie Bakes.)
More than 20 years later, Trinity declared the “Call Her Daddy” podcast. that the NBA legend “wasn’t a father” to her.
“Maybe for blood, but nothing else,” he said in December 2024. “I don’t mean it negatively, but more realistic about it. We tried to be that foundation and be the good people around him. Because we never really asked for anything unless we really needed it… He never understood that people could just want to be around him and be happy.”

According to Trinity, Rodman’s lifestyle affected his ability to be a good husband and father.
“We tried to live with him, but he parties 24/7. He brings random dogs,” she said. “My mother didn’t want to, she was strong enough to face it because even today, I still think my father didn’t love anyone after my mother. I think my mother only saw the situation as, ‘We love each other.’ It won’t work, neither will my kids, I can’t have them seeing you treat me like this and I’m ashamed of the party scene.”
After Moyer and Rodman separated, the children resided primarily with their mother.

Trinity, Rodman and Moyer’s second child, was born in May. As noted in “Call Her Daddy,” she was Rodman’s “little princess.”
June 2006
Rodman and Moyer made a rare red carpet appearance with DJ and Trinity at the Los Angeles premiere Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man’s Chest. They continued to support Rodman at his 2011 retirement ceremony and other public events despite the alleged drama at home.
2012
After Rodman and Moyer finalized their divorce, DJ and Trinity lived primarily with their mother.
“We saw him one, two, three, four times a year,” Trinity recalled on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in 2024. “Every time they were together, it was the same s… It was my valid mother and ‘What the hell are you doing? Help us and help your kids.'”
At one point, Trinity claimed that her family was living in a car because Rodman stopped providing for them financially.
“That was all the fight was about, at least in front of us,” he said. “It was just the party of money and helping your kids.”
Later that year, Rodman was ordered to pay Moyer $500,000 child back support.

Rodman attended one of Trinity’s professional football matches during his rookie year with the Washington Spirit. As they were photographed hugging each other before the game, she later broke down in tears.
“I think it’s like half of the first half and I hear (her voice),” she recalled in her “Call Her Daddy” episode. “I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, there’s no way this is happening right now.’ Mind you, I haven’t seen him or talked to him in months. I was like, ‘You took this happy moment for me, like you’re screwed again.’
After the football game, Rodman allegedly stopped coming to Trinity.

December 2024
During Trinity’s “Call Her Daddy” appearance, she claimed that Rodman resumed communication earlier that year.
“Now I answer the phone because of my conscience. If something happens, God forbid, I want to know that I did it,” he said. “Or if I needed to hear my voice before anything happened. That’s why I answer the phone, not for me.”
Trinity’s claims prompted a response from Rodman, that he apologized in a long Instagram note.
“I’m sorry I wasn’t the father you wanted me to be but either way I tried and I’m still trying and I will never stop. I’ll keep trying even when you’re told as an adult not to answer my phone calls,” she wrote. “I’ll try even when it’s hard and if it takes a long time. I’m always here and I tell you all the time, whether it’s your voice or your voicemail, how proud I am.”
Rodman added: “I’ve always had a wish and I wish my kids would call me and come see me. Hopefully, one day I can get it. I’m here and I’m still trying to get on the phone you have my number, you see me calling, I’m still here.”
In response to Rodman’s message, Trinity claimed it was all done for “attention”.
“Wiping my hands off him. I’m done“, he wrote on his Instagram stories. “Thank you.”

After attending one of the boyfriends Ben SheltonThe tennis matches with his family, Trinity took to Instagram share your thoughts to BBC Sports’ Andrew Castle, who called her “Tiffany” during the broadcast and referred to Dennis as “one of the greatest sportsmen of all time”.
“For Ben’s matches, he has his family there as a support system, which includes his dad,” she wrote. “My parents don’t even in MY life need to bring it up during THEIR games when I don’t even want it brought up during mine.”

trinity made history of women’s football when she signed a three-year extension with the NWSL’s Washington Spirit worth $2 million a year, making her the highest-paid women’s soccer player in the world.
Dennis celebrated the news from afar, sharing an ESPN announcement via his Instagram story and blasting Drake and Nicki Minaj’s “Make Me Proud.”
