Cross’s Jeanine Mason reveals her plans to copy the character’s massive back tattoo

“Every time you go into a job, every episode is a new adventure. You really have no idea what’s coming because we both went in and auditioned. We fought for these parts and at the time, Cross didn’t even exist. The TV show hadn’t come out yet. So when we got the jobs, we were signing the 10 pages we had for the audition, we didn’t have a side,” Laillard. “It’s a real joy to play these characters and be a part of this world (because) Cross is now this worldwide phenomenon.”

Lillard praised Cross’ audience, adding, “They had 40 million views in the first 20 days. So now we’re really excited to be a part of this successful show. We’re excited for people to join us on this whole journey. It’s going to be great.”

Mason, for his part, pointed out that they are “personally invested” in season two doing well

“We had a screening and a panel where they asked me if the tattoo (on my character’s back) is real. I said, ‘If this feels (good) in 20 days, I’ll get the tattoo,'” she shared with Mason, who plays a vigilante named Luz. we before Lillard chimed in: “This is crazy. I don’t think you should tell people because the more people you tell, the more dangerous this thing becomes.”
