Clickup has redesigned its productivity platform and released a new assistant feature that aims to create a one-step shop for customers.

Clickup launched two types of AI agents with the 4.0 release. The first is an agent that is present in all communication channels. The other assistant, called the brain, is a more general assistant that can generate ideas, perform tasks like scheduling meetings as well as adding comments, or creating new ones. It can also access the Web and other integrated tools, analyze reports, and create draft lists. Like many AI assistants, the brain also lives in the sidebar and can be accessed anywhere in the ClickUp interface.
The A16Z-powered productivity company says the new release makes it easier for users to switch between tasks, documents, and communications. Click 4.0 allows you to view the International Forum timeline, switch between different communication channels, and view tasks through the options in the sidebar.
Clickup has tried to do better with the likes Author, Slackand Microsoft teams by providing calendar, communication, and document, enterprise search, and task tracking under a single product.
