Four Canadians are killed in China about drug-related cases earlier this year, Canadian authorities have been confirmed.
They are all double citizens and their identities have been blocked, Canada’s Minister of Foreign Ministerie by Canada.
A spokesperson for the Chinese Embassy in Canada reportedly urged Ottawa to “Stop making it irresponsible remarks”, as Pundits feared a further downturn in relations between the countries after years of strain.
The foreign ministry of China says Thursday it has become “lawful”, while the embassy says that there is “strong and adequate” evidence of their crimes.

China does not recognize double citizenship and requires a difficult principle of drug crimes. However, it is rare for death penalty to do with foreigners.

In 2019, the National National Robert Lloyd Schellenberg was sentenced to die in China for drug smuggling, in a high-profile case sentenced to Canadian government. He is not among Canadians killed.
“We will continue not only strongly judged but also ask for misfortune for other Canadians who face similar circumstances,” said Jely on Wednesday.
Relationships between Canada and China have been icks since 2018 after Canada seized a telecomed executive, Meng Wanzhou, to an extradition request. China arrested two Canadians shortly afterwards, both of them were released today.
In 2023, the Canadian media released reports, based on the leaked intelligence, about the detailed claims of Chinese medicine in the country’s federal elections. China denies reports, calling them “no basis and shocking”.
Many many, China has executed retaliated tariffs in some Canadian farms and food imports after Ottawa indicates vehicles in Chinese electrics, steel and aluminum.
