Chappell Roan has cut ties with her talent agency, Wasserman, after CEO and founder Casey Wasserman was named in files related to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
“As of today, I am no longer represented by Wasserman, the talent agency run by Casey Wasserman,” Roan, 27, shared on an Instagram story on Monday, February 9.
The “Pink Pony Club” singer continued, “I hold my teams to the highest standards and also have a duty to protect them. No artist, agent or employee should ever be expected to defend or condone actions that conflict so deeply with our own moral values.”
“I have a deep respect and appreciation for the agents and staff who work tirelessly for their artists and I refuse to passively stand by,” added Roan. “Artists deserve representation that aligns with their values and supports their safety and dignity. This decision reflects my belief that meaningful change in our industry requires accountability and trusted leadership.”

Last month, documents emerged linking Wasserman, 51, who is also the chairman of the organizing committee for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, to an associate of Epstein’s. Ghislaine Maxwell.

The Justice Department released another batch of federal documents (dubbed the Epstein files) in January following investigations into the disgraced financier. Epstein committed suicide in August 2019 while awaiting trial for child sex trafficking and conspiracy to commit child sex trafficking.

The bill “requires the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release (in a searchable and downloadable format) all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials in DOJ’s possession related to the investigation and prosecution of Jeffrey Epstein.” The released materials include those related to federal charges related to Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime friend and former girlfriend.
