Chad Michael Murray reflects on health scare close to death at 15


Chad Michael Murray is reflecting on a frightening hospital stay When I was a teenager.

“I was 15 years old and my intestines had twisted,” said Murray, 43, in the episode on Friday, August 8, the “Great Company” podcast. “I was hospitalized for two and a half months. It was a lot.”

He added: “We had surgery. I had internal bleeding, and lost 50 percent of the blood. I was on the deathbed.”

Murray also explained that he does not have many memories of the experience of nearby death because he was “inside and out of consciousness”.

“I just remember seeing my father, the weakest I had ever seen and a priest at the end of my bed.” it Freakier more Friday star remembered. “They are talking about last rites and all these things, and (the nurse) gave me a transfusion of blood to save -my life. He saved my life.”

Murray added: “Regardless, you are there for two months, and you know, my organs closed because you have blood all coagulated around them and they had to wait until even. So, however, I had to make a second surgery to clean -everything.”

While Murray was in the hospital, his main nurses, two women called Sandy and Alana, inspired him to pursue a Hollywood race.
