At least one person was killed and three injured in a “large” attack of the Moscow attack and in the capital region, the local officer said.
Regional Governor Andrei Voroyev says casualties are in vidnoye cities and domodedovo, just outside the capital. Seven apartments in a residential building were damaged.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin says that 73 drones leading to the town were shot. The roof of a building is damaged by drone disruption.
A district train network is currently suspended, and flight restrictions are in the area of Moscow airports after the attack – a largest invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
Attack comes hours ahead of a crunch meeting between representatives from the United States and Ukraine in Saudi Arabia, focuses on the end of the battle between Russia and Ukraine.
In a social media post, Governor Vorobyev has been published photos shown in one of the damaged apartments, and burns cars in a Moscow park.
He said 12 people – including three children – have to be evacuated from their damaged flats after all night strike.
Flight restrictions are imposed on Sheremetovo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo airport – Major transport hubs used by millions of passengers each year.
Ukraine does not comment on the issue.
