Caroline Dubois finally got the fight she’s been waiting for after her lightweight title unification bout with Terry Harper was confirmed.
Londoner Dubois, a Tokyo Olympian, is the WBC lightweight world champion and a rising star on the British boxing scene.
Harper, from Doncaster, is a more seasoned pro and has already had an illustrious career, winning world titles in three different weight divisions. She is the current WBO champion at 135 pounds.
After a heated rivalry, Dubois will take on Harper live at the Olympia in London on Sunday, April 5. Ski Sports.
Dubois said Ski Sports: “I’ve been calling Terry out for a while before this fight. We were supposed to fight at the Royal Albert Hall (last year). So it was always the fight in my mind, in my mind and the timing was good.”

The card will be the first event for Jake Paul’s top UK promotions, with Dubois v Harper and Ellie Scotney’s undisputed title fight taking place on Sunday 5th April, live on Sky Sports

Dubois shot through the professional ranks. In 2024, she retired and defeated Maria Moneo to win the interim WBC strap. It was upgraded to a full world championship when Katie Taylor vacated the belt.
She defended her title when she dominated Jessica Camara, who escaped with a technical draw after the bout in the third round.
In another good performance, Dubois defeated Bo Mi Rae Shin at the Albert Hall last March and recently boxed on the undercard of Anthony Joshua vs. Jake Paul, handing Camilla Panatta a big upset.

Harper has packed a wealth of experience into her 20-game professional career. She became the world super-featherweight champion for the first time in 2020 and drew with Natasha Jonas when they clashed later that year.
She lost the WBC super flyweight belt to Alicia Baumgardner. Harper moved up to super welterweight and defeated Hannah Rankin to win the WBA title. She defended that title against former world champion Ivana Habazin and drew with boxing legend Cecilia Brehus.
She became a three-division world champion when she defeated Rhiannon Dixon to win the WBO lightweight title.

“I’m really excited. I think she’s a household name. A solid fighter. But I think I have more than anything she has. I think I have more to bring to the table in terms of skill, ability, talent, power,” Dubois insisted.
“That’s a big name. What better showcase to have and it shows the value MVP sees me for and I’m so happy to be at that level. I’ve had so few fights, only 13 now. This will be 13. I’m still very early in my career. Another big fight. So much at stake.”
