Candace Cameron Bure breaks down her daily diet and workout routine


Candace Cameron Bure is pulling back the curtain on his daily diet and workout routine.

“Being consistent in the gym with my weights routine,” Bure captioned a video shared via her Instagram story on Friday, Nov. 14, detailing her workout plan. In the clip, the actress could be seen lifting weights while inhaling and exhaling.

“Tracking weight and increasing as I get stronger. Using 25lb dumbbells for shoulder press right now,” he continued in the caption. “Some days 30lbs. 3xsets. This is just a shoulder exercise. I do shoulders, legs and biceps as one day. Chest, back and triceps as another day. Cardio and fine tuning another day. In rotation for the week.”

In a second story shared via the platform, Bure also gave fans a glimpse of what she eats in a day.

“My eating plan has been rough the last two months,” she wrote over a photo of a bowl of chili. “I’ve been traveling a lot, so most meals on the road from restaurants. When choosing, I look for hot dishes with an animal protein like chicken, steak, or salmon with veggies and sweet potato. Or a salad with similar ingredients. Or anything with eggs (just because I love them!) Natasha made this beef and bean chili that was so delicious. “The cot was delicious.”

The Full House alum has been close when it comes to the routines that keep her sane and grounded. She’s also been candid when it comes to how she feels when people on the internet comment on her body.

“I feel confident and secure in who I am, but I feel like there’s always pressure (to look a certain way),” Bure exclusively said. Us Weekly earlier this month. “If my husband loves me and tells me I’m great, that’s all that matters.”

The actress also reflected on a decision she made this September when she removed a swimsuit photo from her Instagram. “I don’t need people to take my body. I’m like, ‘It’s OK, you can’t have an opinion.’ I’m just going to take it away from you so you can’t say what you want about that part of my life.” And that’s okay,” he explained.

“People are always going to have an opinion, and sometimes you forget that for a moment because you’re like, ‘Hey, happy moment.’ I’ll share something,” Cameron Bure added in the same interview. “And then you’re like, ‘Oh, why did I share that?’

Ultimately, he “felt it was easier to remove it, because there doesn’t need to be controversy.”

Also in September, she shared another set of workout secrets after a commenter noted that she looked “more toned these days.”

“Upped my weight lifting program. Heavy weights 4x a week, fit and cardio 2x a week. I work out with my husband (love our gym time together) and still use the @kirastokesfit app and FT workout with Kira!” Candace wrote, referring to her athletic trainer, Kira Stokes. “It also has ‘gym time’ in the app where you can follow a heavier program there.”

He added: “I’ve been very consistent this past year and I’ve finally seen the changes I’ve wanted.”
