The fight at UFC 325 was canceled after American fighter Cameron Smotherman collapsed during Friday’s weigh-in.
Smotherman was scheduled to fight American Ricky Tursi on the Paddy Pimblatt vs. Justin Getty undercard on Saturday in Las Vegas.
The 28-year-old, who was due to take part in his fourth UFC fight, collapsed after registering his weight.
Smotherman took a few steps away from the scales before collapsing to the floor at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
He was attended by UFC officials and doctors and successfully weighed in at 135.5 pounds before the incident occurred.
The UFC website stated: “Due to a medical issue with Cameron Smotherman, his bout with Ricky Turcios has been cancelled.
There is still no update on Smotherman’s condition.
