“(My mom and dad) repeatedly pressured and tried to bribe me to take away the rights to my name,” Brooklyn. stated in a January 2026 statement shared through social networks. “(This) would have affected me, my wife and our future children.”
Brooklyn, who married the actress Nicola Peltz Beckham in 2022, further claimed that David and Victoria wanted the documents finalized before the wedding.
“They were adamant that I sign before my wedding date because that’s when the terms of the agreement would kick in,” Brooklyn claimed. “My withholding affected payday, and I’ve never been treated the same since.”
David and Victoria, who also share three younger children, have not publicly addressed Brooklyn’s allegations and are staying away from him and Nicola.

“This is a misunderstanding of the position,” said a source close to the Beckhams Us Weekly in January 2026. “Of course, a parent or adult would do the original filing if the person was a child at the point they needed to register. Brooklyn and her siblings, who are now over 18, own their trademarks and Brooklyn manages theirs with her own team.”
Brooklyn may also have referenced the use of the Beckham family name in his bombshell statement, which was not expressly made clear.

Brooklyn Beckham began estrangement from his family in 2025 after drama surrounding his wedding day.

He further stated that “the Beckham brand comes first” above any love or family loyalty.
“Family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo, even if it comes at the expense of our professional obligations,” Brooklyn wrote. “(Nicola and I) have gone out of our way for years to show up and support every fashion show, every party and every press event to showcase ‘our perfect family!’ But the one time my wife asked for my mother’s support in saving the dogs displaced during the Los Angeles fires, my mother refused.”
David and Victoria Beckham did not immediately address any of their son’s allegations.
