During the team’s playoff game against Josh Allen (Steinfeld’s husband) and the Buffalo Bills on Saturday, January 17, the Broncos boasted a fan poster on the big screen at Mile High Stadium, which had printed the Steinfeld’s viral image posing in Broncos gear.

To be clear, the photo of Steinfeld, 29, was taken in 2016, after the Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50.

The image resurfaced last week and went viral on social media before Saturday’s playoff game between the Bills and the Broncos.
Allen, 29, responded upon seeing the photo on Thursday, Jan. 15, telling the CBS reporter Tracy Wolfson that he hadn’t seen it and “wasn’t going to bring it up at home”.
“He asked Josh about this photo and he said he had no idea it was floating around,” Wolfson posted via X. “He laughed and said he was probably paid to be there. And he definitely wouldn’t bring it up at home. 😂.”
Allen and Steinfeld married in May 2025, recently announcing they were expecting their first child.
Steinfeld showed off her baby bump on the red carpet at the 2026 Golden Globes on Sunday, January 11. At the same time, the Bills defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road in the NFL Wild Card round.

“On (Golden) Globes day, there was something exciting on TV that I’m sure you were all watching,” Steinfeld wrote in the Friday, Jan. 16 edition of his newsletter. “The release was at the same time as the glam, so I was a bit (very) distracted.”
She even admitted to waiting for a break in the action before applying makeup for the awards show, praising her makeup artists, Ash Kholm and Tom Bachik, for understanding the importance of the moment.
“Ash waited for a commercial break to do my eyeliner,” she wrote on Friday. “I don’t know how Tom painted my nails with flying hands, but he did it. Dream Team.”
Steinfeld’s film Sinners was nominated for seven awards and took home the trophies for Best Original Score – Motion Picture and Box Office Achievement.
Allen was also following his wife’s big night from across the country. After their win over the Jaguars, Allen shared a photo of Steinfeld on the red carpet via his Instagram story, adding drool and heart eyes emojis.
