Snow, 39, was asked about the 2026 show Golden Globe on Sunday January 11, explaining And! news“Oh, it’s just as steamy. In fact, it’s steamier. We shot some scenes, played some Reneé Rapp. We got into a groove. We’re doing it.”
The actress, who plays Sophie, admitted she is curious to see how the viewers will react.
“There are a lot of things happening this season that are very shocking, I will say,” he continued. “It’s going to make people very angry, but in a sexy way.”
based on May Cobb’The book of the same name, The Hunting Wives introduced Sophie, who moved from Boston to an East Texas town where she was drawn to prominent socialite Margo (Malin Åkerman). While some were invested in the murder at the center of the series, The Hunting Wives it also provided plenty of entertainment with guns, booze and wet hookups on screen.
The eight-part series, which premiered in July 2025, was originally filmed for Starz before Lionsgate Television acquired the rights (and Netflix licensed the US rights to the series for a year). As a result, viewers got more NSFW sex than they bargained for.

Part of her manipulation is sex, it’s sexual and it’s how a lot of people operate in this world and in order to take control. So when you have that power, and she’s very aware of it, she knows how to use it and she does,” Åkerman, 47, said exclusively. Us Weekly when the show debuted. “That’s what I like about her. That’s what makes her controversial and funny and salacious and sassy, and that’s why we want to watch her.”
Snow, for his part, expressed his gratitude Åkerman as a scene partner.
“Something really great about Malin is also that she’s very, very in tune with what I thought or what other people thought in terms of comfort,” she shared on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast in October 2025. “So she was always very aware (since) she’s Swedish, that she’s more open about nudity and still doesn’t feel like walking around naked, but I was more aware of that.
Snow continued, “She would say, ‘Do you want me to put my body here so you don’t have to show that part of yourself?’ I said, “That’s so selfless and nice.”
According to an official synopsis, season 2 of The Hunting Wives collect with Sophie and Margo “on the way out”.
“But soon, old secrets and new enemies force them to come together,” read the description of the hit series. “As they play their dangerous games, the question arises: are they the hunters or the hunted?”
