Britney Spears declares she will never perform live in the United States again


Bad news for fans waiting to see them Britney Spears acting in the States shortly.

The 44-year-old singer vowed to “never perform in America again” in one post shared through his Instagram on Thursday, January 8.

“Sending this piano to my son this year!!! She captioned a photo of herself on stage sitting next to a piano. “Funnily enough, I dance on IG to heal things in my body that people have no idea about. Yes, and it’s embarrassing sometimes…but I walked through fire to save my life…”

Spears added that she is far from taking the stage in her home country, but teased future international performances in the UK and Australia.

“I will never perform in the US again due to extremely sensitive reasons, but I hope to be sitting on a stool with a red rose in my hair, in a bow, performing with my son … in the UK and AUSTRALIA very soon,” she continued. “He’s a huge star and I’m so humbled to be in his presence!!! My God, little man!!!”

Although Spears did not say which child she was referring to in the post, she shares two children with her ex-husband Kevin Federline: Jayden19 i Preston20.

She previously described Jayden as a “genius” in a March 2025 Instagram post that showed a video of his son playing the piano.

“I’m in awe of him,” she told the publication. “I can’t believe it’s mine!!! I was honestly scared this is not normal!!!”

last month, Jayden celebrated Christmas with his mother in California while Preston spent the holidays with the “… Baby One More Time” singer’s family in Louisiana.

“She had an amazing time with Jayden over Christmas,” a source exclusively said Us Weekly on December 30. “They laughed a lot and bonded more than they have in a long time.”

The “Gimme More” singer previously performed regularly from 2013 to 2017 as part of her lucrative Las Vegas residency, Britney: Piece of me.

She was ready to continue with her second residence, dominationin 2019 though pulled the plug indefinitely before starting, citing family problems.

“I am devoting my focus and energy to taking care of my family,” Spears said in a statement on January 4, 2019. “We have a very special relationship and I want to be with my family at this time, just as they have always been there for me.”

According to a press release at the time, Jamie Spears he was rushed to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas two months before the announcement after his colon spontaneously ruptured. He underwent surgery and spent 28 days in hospital before being discharged home.

Jamie was a prominent figure in her daughter’s conservatorship controversy and the father-daughter duo have endured a rocky relationship over the years.

In a Court hearing of November 2020, Spears said she was “afraid” of her father, who was her conservator at the time, and said she “won’t perform as long as her father is in charge of her career.”

Spears’ 13-year conservatorship officially ended on November 12, 2021, and Jamie is no longer the singer’s conservator.
