“They have an integral role to play in terms of being the Viscount and Viscountess and the older siblings,” Brownell said of Kate and Anthony’s return to the fold. “And I think it’s lovely to be able to advise and guide them again.”
In Antony’s absence, Benedict was appointed to help manage the family property.
“It has, but also, there are several Bridgerton estate seats,” Brownell acknowledged. “He will be able to do this work, not only from the Bridgerton house, but also from (Anthony’s country residence at) Aubrey Hall.”
Bridgerton is adapted from Julia Quinnthe best-selling Regency romance series of the same name, in which each novel follows one of the eight brothers to the wealthy Bridgerton family. Season 1, based on The duke and mechronicled Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor) on the marriage market, while season two highlighted Anthony’s journey The viscount who loved me. “We’re almost done with Season 5 at this point,” Brownell said variety “The last three seasons have focused on the Bridgerton boys, so all I can say is that Seasons 5 and 6 are definitely about the Bridgerton girls in the middle.”
According to Brownell, there will be “some clues for people to analyze” in Season 4 about the order of the remaining seasons.
Bridgerton Author Quinn, 55, is among the select few privy to the coveted order.
“I know who’s scheduled next,” Quinn explained exclusively Us Weekly in May 2025. “My hope is that all the brothers eventually take the lead because we love them (all of them). That was kind of the point of the books is that you have these eight separate stories, but they’re all connected.”
In addition to the stories of Eloise and Francesca, Hyacinth (Florence Hunt) and Gregory (Will Tilston) have yet to take the lead.
