Terry Bradshawhis arm is no longer what it was.
(In his defense, throwing a fish is very different than throwing a ball.)
With the Fox NFL Sunday broadcast team in Seattle ahead of the NFC Championship Game on Sunday, Jan. 25, Bradshaw and another analyst Rob Gronkowski visited the famous Pike Place Market and participated in the iconic tradition of throwing fish.
Gronkowski, 36, stood behind the service counter while Bradshaw, 77, tried to throw a fish at him from the market’s main lobby. Unfortunately for the two former professional football players, the fish didn’t make it all the way and bounced off the counter.
Bradshaw, an NFL Hall of Famer who spent 14 seasons as the Pittsburgh Steelers’ quarterback from 1970-83, smiled after the misstep as the crowd booed the three-time Super Bowl champion.
After the first attempt didn’t go as planned, a fan in attendance stepped up and naturally had to show off his Tom Brady New England Patriots jersey.
Gronkowski was one of Brady’s favorite targets during his playing days and the two won four Super Bowls together.
“One for Gronk!” shouted the fan before throwing the fish.

NFL / InstagramThe fan’s throw was perfect, and Gronkowski made the catch look easy, triumphantly holding the fish like a sliding Lombardi Trophy afterward.
“Brady to Gronk one more time,” Gronkowski said as he posed for a photo with the fan while holding the fish.
As the market shenanigans wrap up, Gronkowski and Bradshaw prepare to host Fox Sports’ pregame show before the NFC Championship game between the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams begins.
The matchup will be the third meeting between the two division rivals this season, this time with the opportunity to play in Super Bowl LX on the line.
The first two meetings went to the wire, and the teams split the regular season matchups. The Rams won Round 1 in November, 21-19, and Seattle won Round 2, 38-37, in overtime in December.
“It’s no different, that’s the theme of the week,” the Seahawks quarterback said Sam Darnold he told the media about the championship game on Friday, January 23. “Obviously, it’s a big game. We understand the implications, but we have our process and we do everything the same as we’ve done all season.”
Jarrett Stidham’s wife, Kennedy Stidham, clearly used the recent winter weather as inspiration for her 2025 AFC Championship outfit. He continued, “I don’t know how you got through last week, but I’m sure the 12 (Seahawks fans). They always bring it to us, so we’re excited for them. . . . The 12 are very smart football fans. They understand when to be quiet and when to be really loud. Our fans are very good when to be loud and when not to be loud.”
Darnold was dealing with some injuries before the game, but was cleared to play Sunday.
Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald he also touched on the playoff atmosphere in the stadium before the playoff game.
“This place is going to be hectic,” Macdonald said Friday. “It’s going to be electric. All 12 are going to do their thing. It’s going to be amazing. Last week was amazing, so I imagine it’s going to go up a notch, I don’t know how that’s possible. That’s why we do what we do. For weeks like this, for our community, for our city, for the 12, I better get this opportunity for our guys. That.”
