Bill Gates responds to Epstein’s email claim he got STIs from ‘Russian Girls’


Bill Gates responds after an email on newly released documents related to the late child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein claimed the Microsoft billionaire contracted a sexually transmitted infection (STI) from “Russian girls”.

“These claims are absolutely absurd and completely false,” a spokesman for Gates, 70, said in a statement a people published on Saturday, January 31. “All these documents show is Epstein’s frustration at not having an ongoing relationship with Gates and the limits he was going to trap and defame.”

On Friday, January 30, the Department of Justice released more than 3 million news documents from the so-called “Epstein Files” according to the recently approved Epstein Files Transparency Act. The files, emails and other documents related to the federal investigation into Epstein included a July 18, 2013 email titled “Bill,” alleging that Gates had been seeking treatment for an STI.

“To add insult to injury then with tears in my eyes, implore me to please delete the emails regarding your illness, your request to provide antibiotics that you can surreptitiously give him. Melinda (French doors)and the description of your penis,” Epstein’s email read.

The email appeared to be written by Boris Nikolica former chief science and technology adviser at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation who resigned in 2014.

“In my role as his right-hand man, I have been asked and mistakenly allowed to participate in things that have ranged from morally inappropriate to ethically unsound and have been repeatedly asked to do things that approach and potentially cross the illegal line,” one email reads. “From helping Bill get drugs, to dealing with the consequences of sex with Russian girls, to facilitating his illicit dates, with married women, to asking him to provide supplements for bridge tournaments, since I’m a doctor, but I don’t have the ability to write prescriptions.”

Gates, for his part, has previously spoken of his regret for his previous relationship with Epsteinwho committed suicide in 2019 while in prison on child sex trafficking charges.

“In retrospect, I was a fool to spend time with him,” Gates said Wall Street Journal in a January 2025 interview. “So yeah, I think it was pretty stupid. I thought it would help me with global health philanthropy. Actually it didn’t, it was a big mistake.”

Gates said the controversies surrounding Epstein before his arrest in 2019 and subsequent death in August of that year have made him more cautious about meeting new people now. “Definitely,” he said Wall Street Journal. “I mean, are you kidding me?”

In 2022, Gates’ ex-wife cited her alleged relationship with Epstein as one of the factors that led to their divorce. “It’s not one thing, it was a lot of things. But I didn’t like that he had meetings with Jeffrey Epstein,” he said. CBS mornings at that time “I made that clear.”
