Belgian Prime Minister rails against EU pressure to use Russian funds for Ukraine

Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever called the EU’s plan to use frozen Russian funds to fund Ukraine “fundamentally flawed”, casting further doubt on efforts to agree the move next month. In a letter to European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen, seen by AFP on Friday, De Wever strongly rejected the initiative and urged not to venture “into unknown legal and financial waters”. FRANCE 24’s Dave Keating reports from Brussels.
