The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield he could only watch his team’s playoff hopes disappear on Sunday, January 4 and his wife, emilyhe shared these moments of tension with the world.

Tampa Bay needed the New Orleans Saints to beat the Atlanta Falcons to win the NFC South and clinch a playoff spot. Instead, the Falcons won a 19-17 thriller, forcing a three-way tie in the division between Tampa Bay, Atlanta and Carolina. The Buccaneers are the fourth NFL team Baker has played for in his eight years in the league. He began his career with the Cleveland Browns after being drafted with the No. 1 overall pick before making quick stops with the Panthers and Los Angeles Rams. He signed with Tampa Bay in March 2023 with the goal of success Tom Brady when the legendary quarterback retired.
Although Baker had a career year in 2024, leading the Buccaneers to the NFC South title and throwing 41 touchdown passes, he sparked controversy. comments he made about his predecessor.
