Baccalaureate in Paradise alum Kat Izzo look forward to a clean new year.

Without specifically explaining her plans for 2026, eagle-eyed fans quickly realized that the initials “DM” could refer to a social media direct message or Kat’s ex-boyfriend. Dale Moss.
“The caption is crazy but I love it,” one TikTok follower replied, while another added: “You killed it,” Kat liked.

Kat and Dale, 37, started dating in progress Baccalaureate in Paradise season 10 last summer despite multiple love triangles. As other women chased after Dale, he stressed to Kat that she had nothing to worry about as he “killed” the conversations. (Kat, meanwhile, was confused since “dead” isn’t a word in the dictionary.)
Us Weekly confirmed in November 2025 that Kat and Dale broke up months after leaving the BiP beaches as an official couple.
“(There’s) no engagement talks or anything like that,” Dale previously said on a September 2025 episode of “The Viall Files” podcast. “I think you have the show and we built the foundation there. When we talk about after the show (ended) in June, it was still a deep exploration phase for both of us.”
He continued: “We had a lot of conversations, things that came up with both of us (and) weren’t created by the other partner. Now, moving forward, we’re in a very, very strong place.“
According to Dale, he predicted that the couple would reach many relationship milestones together.

“I was never a great dater before. For me, it’s always taken time to get to know someone and get to know them,” Dale said. “The relationship will form in its own (time), but I’m not trying to waste my time. I’m not trying to waste anyone else’s time. We’re not just casually hanging out. There are certain things you share because you’re proud of them, but there’s also things you’re going to stay tight-lipped about.”
Despite keeping their relationship private, Dale admitted he still had a lot of affection for Kat.
“As I said on the show, I love and am deeply loved by Kat,” he revealed at the time. “We have all these conversations about what it looks like if (our future includes) a child, a home (and) what we want. I’ve never been anxious (being in) a relationship.”
Kat, meanwhile, revealed that she also felt “the love is there” between the then-couple.
“We express it to each other. Now, we move on to the fact that we’re going to be public, and then he’ll have his own thing,” Kat said. “Honestly, we can probably go even deeper. It’s still very difficult to try to build a relationship privately (and while doing it) long distance.”
