Australia beat England in Women’s Ashes in Women’s Ashes this year in the first day of the test played on the field.
MCG is hosting the first tested match 1877. years and centenary test 1977. years, both in which Australia won 45 runs.
Announcing the match, executive director Greenberg said: “Test 150. Anniversary on MCG will be one of the great events of cricket and to celebrate both the rich heritage of our game and test modern evolution.
“The series this season will add appetite for this conflict at exactly two years and we look forward to celebrating this historical opportunity further as it approaches.”
England in Australia later this year in Australia in the Fifth Match series begins in Perth in November.
