Three years after their high-profile split, Ariana Madix i Tom Sandoval have officially settled the legal battle over the sale of their shared home.
Us Weekly confirmed that Madix, 40, and Sandoval, 42, reached an agreement on Tuesday January 13, when the Love Island USA the host filed a notice of settlement of the entire case in Los Angeles Superior Court. According to the filing, the filing of the case is “conditional” and would require “the successful completion of specified timelines” within 30 days of the date of the ruling.
The two sides are expected to meet on February 5 for a final status conference. The legal filing, in which Page Six first broke the news, noted that if Sandoval does not abide by the terms of the settlement, the case will go to trial on February 17.
The update on the case comes three years later Vanderpump Rules students told it to stop following the Sandoval affair with his then co-star Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.

After their breakup, Sandoval and Ariana home became a problem. They originally bought the house in 2019 for $2 million after six years of dating. A month after the scandal made headlines, Sandoval admitted he had nowhere else to go.
“I don’t have a lot of friends that I can hang out with right now … I have my own way of running the house,” she said on the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast in April 2023. “I do the gardening (and) the cleaning. My assistant comes and cleans and stores everything. I basically bring everything into the house.”
Sandoval he explained how he avoided seeing Madix every day using a mediator. “(Ariana) in the house. This is a big house. We have a go-between. We text when we come and go,” he continued at the time. “The house isn’t listed yet, no. (Ariana) is very busy right now, obviously she’s blowing up. I’m really happy to see that. I’ve been busy trying to put things together, too.”
Madix, meanwhile, defended his decision to stay at home. “I’ve never been someone who came from the money. I know how quickly that goes away,” he told co-star Scheana Shay on the “Scheananigans” podcast in August 2023. “I take care of myself … I have a pretty decent set-up. My room is like my little apartment. I stay in my little zone.”
While some things never change, the Vanderpump Rules cast is used to making a change… and a tweak. She continued: “I sleep a lot easier at night without being sick when he walks in that door. That’s one thing I have to say about us living in the same house. I don’t have to think about how he walks into my room because he’s not. I sleep with the door closed. Just in case.”
In January 2024, Madix filed a lawsuit against Sandoval in hopes of selling their joint property. Madix, who is now dating Daniel Wai, made it clear that she did not want “a split in kind,” while Sandoval pressed for full ownership.
Ariana bought a $1.6 million home in Los Angeles in March 2024 where she resided while Sandoval. discussed plans to sell his house to move in with girlfriend Victoria Lee Robinson.
