“The first season, this is my natural hair. It was a bit a challenge for some (stylists) to work with my hair,” he continued. “We had some heat damage, randomly bleached and four inches cut.”
Entering season 2, Gentry wanted to protect the locks more and asked for a wig, but the hair piece did not end “coinciding” with its real threads.
“We stopped using the wig and took a wand on my hair to combine the curl of curl on the wig,” he said. “My hair was put on the heat every day.”
After suffering more heat damage, hairdressers learned to stylize curls without heat For season 3 of the program. “I had someone who did such a surprising job, we didn’t use heat, we were careful,” he recalled, making it feel without stress in the glam trailer.
