Hundreds of protests are planned today across America
Protests are taking place across the US, including in Minneapolis, Philadelphia and Miami, following the shooting of 37-year-old Renee Goode by an ICE agent in Minneapolis. Police declared a peaceful demonstration in downtown Minneapolis an ‘unlawful assembly’ and arrested several people.

Protests are taking place across America today to protest the death of a Minneapolis woman by an immigration agent.
Protest organizers say more than 1,000 events are planned across the country to demand an end to the Trump administration’s widespread deployment of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, Reuters reported.
A coalition of groups including the American Civil Liberties Union, MoveOne Civic Action, Voto Latino and Indivisivil are organizing the march, some of which were at the forefront of the “No Kings” protests against US President Donald Trump last year.
