Angie Katsanevas has cast a serious shadow on him Real Housewives of Salt Lake City to cost Lisa Barlow about the course Ben Affleck drama
next to a clip of Affleck who appears to have no idea he ever met Barlow, Katsanevas, 51, wrote via Instagram on Friday, January 16: “(Ben) didn’t know Lisa, but he recognized Celia.”
Like anyone RHOSLC the viewer will surely know, Celia is from Katsanevas dear pet poodlewhich played a pivotal role in an iconic Season 6 farting plot with its owner’s co-star Maria M. Cosby. (Cosby, 53, infamously accused Celia of farting during a scene with Katsanevas, though the exact culprit has it has never been confirmed.)
Meanwhile, all the Affleck drama started in The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 6 when Barlow, 51, name-dropped Affleck and Blake Lively as an excuse to miss the Katsanevas girls trip.

“I don’t want to spend the night with (Costar Bronwyn Newport). She is a pathological liar. He cannot tell the truth to save his life. It’s like, disgusting,” Barlow complained. “Besides, I have a work issue. It’s like, a big deal. I think what people forget is that I have a very full life. Because I keep it a little private. And like, I won’t name names, but like, I’ll be with Ben (Affleck) and Blake (Lively).”
He then joked: “I’ll be with Ben Affleck and you’ll be with Bronwyn.”
However, Affleck, 53, seemed completely clueless about having met Barlow when asked to review the Bravo star’s comments during a recent interview with Access Hollywood.
“I don’t want to get anybody in trouble or, I don’t know what this is, an event in Salt Lake City? Like, prove somebody right or wrong?” he responded in a clip shared on Friday.
Affleck later admitted, “I haven’t been to Utah in 8, 9, 10 years, I don’t know. It doesn’t look familiar and I don’t remember anything.”

Jocelyn Prescod/BravoAffleck and his The Rip to cost Matt Damon noted that he may have crossed paths with Barlow at some point without realizing it.
“I don’t want to embarrass her because I say hi to a lot of people, I don’t want to be the jerk who’s like, I didn’t meet you… You don’t remember everyone you meet,” Affleck said. “I don’t think I’m qualified to comment on that, whatever that raging controversy is.”
Although there was speculation that Barlow may have been referring to meeting Ben at a Sundance Film Festival event in Park City, Utah, she later set the record straight.
“(It was) SXSW (for) The accountant 2Barlow clarified via Instagram on Friday. “And it was a great movie and party.”
The action thriller starring Affleck The accountant 2 had its world premiere at the SXSW Film & TV Festival in Austin, Texas on March 8, 2025. Affleck and Damon reportedly attended the screening and a premiere party that night. (Lively’s thriller Another simple favor also screened at SXSW on March 7, 2025.)
This latest incident isn’t the first time Barlow has dropped Affleck’s name. After Affleck’s split with his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez in August 2024, Barlow shared a throwback photo of the actor with his arm around his shoulder.
The Instagram story was set to Lopez’s hit “If You Had My Love” and included Barlow’s hilarious lyric: “I always throw a big house party.”
