Despite a ceasefire in Gaza since October 2025, Israeli bombing continues. Residents are in dire straits, while winter has made matters worse: heavy rains have flooded the camps, and the cold weather has led to the death of at least ten children for lack of adequate heating or clothing. Local associations, such as the Sameer Project, are doing what they can to support the people of Gaza.
